It would be great if I would be able to create custom plugins for mixo that appear in the tools section (or its own section), and that I can use to perform actions on playlists and tracks.

Some examples:

• custom integration with my dj pool of choice
• genre renamer / fixer (to get a uniform format)

I know you're always busy with high priority items, and it would be nice to be able to play around with scripts to be able to do custom actions on the data in mixo. We could contribute those plugins back to the mixo community as well.
