Move & Rename Files

New in MIXO v2 - move and rename files!

Set a target folder with optional subfolder patterns, such as ../Artist/Album/you-track.mp3 

Set filename patterns to rename your tracks, such as ../Artist - Title - BPM - Key.mp3 

You can choose to only move or only rename files, or both!

Each change you make will be reflected in the useful 'Example'.

After running the Tool, MIXO will move and/or rename your tracks, then update the database so everything continues to work.

Automatically move/rename tracks on import

Turn the toggle on to automatically apply the patterns when importing tracks directly into MIXO, via drag/drop, Import-Tracks or the Watch Folder.

The patterns you set on the Tools page are saved to the database, so they will persist each time you revisit the page.

* Please be aware that after running this tool, any DJ apps that contain these track will need to be updated. You can either relocate the tracks in the DJ app (if possible) or export again from MIXO. In the latter instance, you should remove the tracks from your DJ app first to avoid duplication.
