3. A window will open asking you to save the file. Choose a memorable location for the file. The file will be saved as an XML file (e.g., Library.xml).

4. Click Save to create the exported file.

If you only want to export a single playlist, select the playlist first, then navigate to File -> Library -> Export Playlist... and ensure the file format is set to XML.

Step 2: Import the XML into MIXO:

1. In MIXO, go to the ‘IMPORT’ tab and click iTunes.

2. If MIXO doesn’t find the XML file automatically, click the 'Change File' button to select the correct XML.

MIXO will import your playlists, tracks and custom metadata directly from the XML file.

PLEASE NOTE: The XML file does not contain cue points or beatgrids.

OPTIONS:

Track Analysis - turn off to speed up the import, however, keeping it enabled is recommended to ensure artwork is imported and exporting to DJ software works correctly.

Mirror Mode - when on, your entire MIXO library will be completely replaced by the imported library. By default, MIXO will merge the new import with your existing library.
