ITUNES TO MIXO

For the Apple Music app, your entire Music library XML can be exported via File -> Library -> "Export Library…".

Individual playlists can also be exported via "Export Playlist…" in the same context menu.

iTunes to MIXO

  1. In iTunes preferences > Advanced, make sure that you have 'Share iTunes library XML with other applications' checked.
  2. In MIXO, select Import > iTunes.
  3. Change the file location if your library is different from the default location.
  4. Click Import iTunes.
  5. MIXO will automatically update any existing playlists and tracks with changes, and import anything that's new.

Backups

MIXO will automatically backup your DJ Libraries every time you export.

It's also a good idea to regularly backup your source library and computer.
