DJAY PRO TO TRAKTOR
1. Exporting your history from Djay Pro
- Open Djay Pro and go to the history section
- Select a set and click the export button
- Select Export CSV File
- Click show playlist in the confirmation popup
2. Importing your Djay Pro playlists to MIXO
- IMPORT > Djay Pro
- Click Change File and select the playlists you exported from Djay Pro
- Click IMPORT DJAY PRO
3. Exporting your collection & playlists from MIXO
- EXPORT > TRAKTOR
- Select a destination by clicking the CHANGE DESTINATION FOLDER button
- Below you will need to confirm which playlists should be exported or if the whole library should be exported
- Click EXPORT
4. Import your NML file into Traktor
- Open Traktor and right-click Track Collection in the tree view
- Select Import another Collection from the menu
- Select the .nml you exported from MIXO. By default this is in Music > MIXO > Exports > TRAKTOR
Notes
Traktor sometimes does not display the playlists after importing a new collection. To fix this, simply restart Traktor
Exporting history is only available on Djay Pro for Mac.
Make sure you back up your Traktor collection before importing from MIXO
MIXO does not import beat grids & cue points from Djay Pro.
Backups
MIXO will automatically backup your DJ Libraries every time you export.
It's also a good idea to regularly backup your source library and computer.
