DEX 3 TO TRAKTOR
1. Exporting your playlists from DEX 3
- Open DEX 3 and right-click the playlist you want to export
- Select Export playlist as M3U from the menu
- Choose a destination to export your playlist
- Follow these steps for each playlist you want to import into MIXO
2. Importing your DEX 3 playlists to MIXO
- To import your playlists or entire collection from DEX 3 go to IMPORT > PLAYLISTS- Click IMPORT PLAYLISTS
- Select the playlists you exported from DEX 3 from the file browser
- Click Open to import the playlists
3. Exporting your collection & playlists from MIXO
- To export playlists or entire collections from MIXO to Traktor go to EXPORT > TRAKTOR- Then confirm which playlists should be exported or if the whole library should be exported
- Then click EXPORT TRAKTOR
4. Import your NML file into Traktor
- To import the .nml file you exported from MIXO into Traktor, please follow these steps:
- Open Traktor and right-click Track Collection in the tree view
- Select Import another Collection from the menu
- Select the .nml you exported from MIXO. By default this is in Music > MIXO > Exports > TRAKTOR- If your playlists are not showing after importing a collection then try restarting Tracktor.
Notes
M3U Exports do not contain cuepoints or beatgrid data so MIXO is not able to import these from DEX 3 at the moment.
Backups
MIXO will automatically backup your DJ Libraries every time you export.
It's also a good idea to regularly backup your source library and computer.
