BACKUPS V2

By default, MIXO automatically creates backups before importing any XML or NML files, and in specific instances before exporting to external software.

IMPORTS: backups are generated for every XML and NML file you import into the system.

EXPORTS: to protect against data loss when overwriting existing files, MIXO saves backups for Serato and VDJ exports. This ensures you can restore your previous library if needed.

Storage & Management

All backup files are saved to the following directory: Music -> MIXO -> Backups

To optimize disk space, MIXO is configured to retain 5 backups per software by default. However, you can increase this limit within your settings as required.

Backup & Restore:

We recommend manually backing up your MIXO library on a regular basis to ensure your latest changes are secure.

Restoring Data: to restore from a backup, simply select the desired file from the list. MIXO will revert your library to its exact previous state; please note that you may need to re-authenticate or reconnect your cloud storage after the restoration is complete.
