Use preexisting BPM tag during import

First of all - Thank you! I've churned through no less than 8 different music library managers and this is the first one that does like... 98% of what I need it to do. And I don't have to mess with docker or duplicate my library to Linux VM. Only been using it for 1 week and my workflows are already significantly more efficient.

Now the real reason for posting - I use a separate tool to analyze key and tempo that is very accurate and I want to stick with it. It updates the ID3 tags and files names with key and tempo. MIXO seems to ignore those tags entirely and do it's own analysis. Is there an option to exclude analysis if tag data already exists. Having to go through 5k tracks to spot-check for tempo accuracy is... very time-consuming.

Hello and thank you for your kind words!

MIXO should extract the key from your tracks. If you right-click and choose Re-Analyse Tracks and then select metadata, it should be fast. Before doing so, you can also go to Settings/Advanced and increase the number of analysis workers to maximum.

If you’re still seeing the wrong key, please send me a track and I’ll investigate the tags.

Thanks!

Bahhhh you're right. It looks like one of the other 8 library managers is the culprit. Bad analysis overwrite all my tags and MIXO just ingested already bad metadata.
