Tag/Watch/Smartlst
Hi,
I’m back again! I previously subscribed but moved over to Lexicon for a while.
I’ve now returned to Mixo and I’m really enjoying it.
I just had a few questions:
Watch Folder:
When I have tracks in a watch folder and Mixo closes or reboots, it seems to re‑read all the tracks again. Is there a setting that stops it from re‑adding files that are already in the library?
Smart Playlists:
I absolutely love these, but when I add a tag to a track, a large “updating playlists” window appears and slows everything down. Is there a way to disable or reduce this behaviour?
Tags:
Tags are a big part of how I organise my library, and I really like the custom tag feature. Is there a way to assign a custom tag (e.g., Schranz) to a keyboard shortcut like CTRL+S, instead of opening the tag window with CTRL+T and clicking manually?
Thanks!

Watch Folder
If the tracks remain in your watch folder but you delete them from your MIXO library, they will be imported next time the watch folder changes or you restart MIXO. The idea is that you keep them or delete them. So just remove them from the watch folder.
Smart playlists
It should just be a small banner at the top. Is that not the case? I’ll take a look and see if this can be optimised. Out of curiosity, how large is your library in terms of tracks, playlists and playlists tracks? You can see this info in Settings/Account.
Tag shortcuts
I’ll look into this!

Signed up as paid membership as i am loving it
Just wanted to ask if im doing something wrong
I move music to my watch folder.
Then it pulls in to mixo.
What point does the renaming and moving to separate folder take place.

MIXO does have a feature that automatically moves and renames tracks when you import them directly, or through the Watch Folder.
I think the setting you're missing is "Delete original", which will actually move the tracks, rather than copy them. See attached the recommended settings when using the Watch Folder. Please let me know if you need any further advice :)
