Hey guys, thanks for this wonderful program and the option to listen Serato Songs on my phone! Is it possible to active the macbook play and pause buttons in the mac desktop app? Would be awesome to just stop and play the music with the mac keyboard like in any other player apps... thanks alot

That is possible - Just quit any other audio apps you have running and restart MIXO. That should register the keyboard shortcuts to MIXO again.

You can then use Space to toggle playback, or media buttons on your keyboard to play/pause, skip forward/back etc.

that is awesome thanks alot... the question is if it also works if the application is sitting behind other apps.. for example i work in the browser have many tabs open also youtube etc and the play pause buttons controls the mixo app because i used it as the last playing source... for example somebody enters the room and i want to stop mixo but it sits behind many other apps

space bar works perfect thanks.. but play pause on the mac is not working at all.. when all apps are closed and i press play on the mac it starts the apple music app

also play pause on the connected airpods does not work.. this works flawless on the iphone :)

Yeah that can happen. I have Sonos, MIXO, Spotify and the Apple Music app so it can get a bit random at times.

I think if you restart MIXO, play a track then hit the play/pause button it should register it. I actually had the same issue with Apple music but currently it's not happening. MIXO has the power!

i think mixo has to take over this "latest play" option on the mac to work like that.. do you have mixo in there? see screenshot

This worked for me:

1. Quit MIXO, press the Play/Pause button.
2. Apple Music opens -> quit it.
3. Start MIXO and play a track.
4. Tap Play/Pause -> should work now.
