Bug with Beta 39 Engine DJ

Chris started this chat 7 months ago

Hello Guys,

I been getting familiar with Engine DJ and found a bug. When using "/" in a folder or tracklist name creates duplicates when imported to Engine DJ. For example if I have a playlist or folder that is R&B / Soul, on export from MIXO to engine it would create 2 playlist as follows "R&B Soul" and "R&B / Soul". I have tried this multiple times and keep the same duplicate issue with multiple folders or playlist. I am attaching some pics as examples to show you.

Let me know if there is an updated beta release. I am still running V2.39

Is there anything specific you did prior? Do you have an Engine USB connected as well?

Yes, I installed a SSD into the Rane System One and I have that connected to the Mac to transfer my music. I ha done in and removed all the "/" from the folders or playlist and its no loner doing it, hence since it doesn't contain "/".

My guess is it's something to do with the data on the SSD drive causing the duplication since it seems to be fine in Engine alone, but if you've manually fixed it then that's good!
