I'm not sure about that.

So you've imported, uploaded and synced via MIXO, and you have the OneDrive app on your phone with all your synced music inside the MIXO/Music folder ?

Can the Files app see the MIXO/Music folder or anything else?

Hi Mixo Support,

I’m reaching out for some clarification on how Mixo cloud storage sync works between my Mac and iOS devices using djay Pro. Here is my current setup and workflow:

Source Library: Local Apple Music library on my Mac (no active Apple Music subscription; all tracks are local files).

Mixo Integration: Imported my Apple Music library successfully into Mixo and set up OneDrive Cloud Storage sync.

Mac Export: Successfully exported the library from Mixo to djay Pro on my Mac.

The Issue:
I want to access these same tracks using djay Pro on my iPad (and eventually iPhone).

When opening djay Pro on my iPad, I navigate to the Files app browser and locate my OneDrive Cloud folder containing the tracks, but I am unable to select or load the folder/tracks into djay Pro.

My Question:

Am I misunderstanding how Mixo’s Cloud Storage sync is intended to work with djay Pro across iOS devices?

What is the correct workflow or best practice to make these local Mac tracks (synced via Mixo and OneDrive) accessible and playable within djay Pro on iOS?

Thank you for your help!

If you’re only wanting to access your music on iOS, can’t you just upload it manually to cloud storage, and download it locally on your phone? Then you can import via the Files app.

There’s no way of syncing your MIXO library to djay in iOS.

Generally, people turn on djay pro in iCloud sync, import their tracks directly into djay, let it all sync, then export from MIXO to build all your playlists etc.

Then on iOS you can access your music through iCloud.

That’s the industry method! MIXO is the tool that allows you to move your carefully curated playlists, metadata and cues from one app to djay.

The sync aspect in MIXO lets you sync multiple devices together - your studio computer, your portable laptop and your phone, for example. Any changes made on one device are synced to the others and you can stream or download your tracks on secondary devices. Basically manage the same DJ library no matter which device you’re on.
