Field Mapping from Serato to RB

Hi guys, I found another small issue during my transition from Serato to rekordbox:

I've built my library using the tag "Grouping" in Serato containing energy levels as text. In RB I'd like to use a similar method to find matching tracks but in the "Field Mapping" tool I cannot find any tag recognized by RB.

How can I transfer the content to for example "My Tag" or any other used in RB?

Edit: a "Custom Tag" cannot be used either, neither as source nor as destination for the mapping.

Hi there and thanks for the feedback!

In the past, other users have used the field mapping tool for the exact same reason and they mapped Grouping to Composer but it's really up to you.

We'll look into mapping to MIXO Tags and exporting these to Rekordbox.

That's a good idea, I didn't think of this.



However, may I propose to add all the available fields into the "to" and "from" drop-downs? For the ones only supported by some of the applications you could do it like this "Rating [RB]".

MIXO v1.85 is now live with support for mapping MIXO tags in the Field Mapper Tool and also an option to export MIXO Tags to MyTag in Rekordbox.
