Export to track tags
Hey guys, just started the free trial here. I've changed the metadata of a track (album name, tags, remixer, title, etc) just to test how the export process to the original file works. Even with the GOLD trial, the original file wasn't updated with the new tags when I tried to open in other softwares. Anything I'm missing during the process? Thanks.

Which software did you export to?
Did you follow the relative guide as linked in the top right corner of each export page?

Printscreen #1: the original file located in my Mac downloads folder
Printscreen #2: I changed the whole track info as a test and added 5 different tags.
Printscreen #3: Export page on Mixo.
Printscreen #4: the original file (located in my downloads folder) opened in MP3Tag (software that I use to change metadata of the original files).
My question is: why the original file wasn't updated with the tags in the comments or with the new names that I gave to it?

1. Go to Settings/Backups -> create a backup.
2. Delete the MIXO app from Applications.
3. Delete the "MIXO" app data folder as described here:
https://support.mixo.dj/guide/delete-mixo-appdata-folder-on-mac
4. Download a fresh copy and install.
5. Go to Settings/Backups -> Restore from backup.
Then try again! Maybe it will magically work.

I have a quick question: is there any way to change the file name inside Mixo? Just recorded another short video showing you what I mean. Here's the link: https://w-si.link/35R7NbRbTdKHJsOQm
Have a nice week :)

Regarding file names, there's no way to change them from inside MIXO. You would need to change them manually before importing them into MIXO (because afterwards it would no longer work in MIXO).
Anyway, glad you got it working! :)

Have you checked the permissions of the files? Maybe allow write access to MIXO and try again.
I'll try to replicate and if not I will build a BETA version with additional logs to see what we can find.

1. The first time I sent you the message here, I couldn't find MIXO's folder at Application Support. When I deleted the app and reinstalled, it appeared.
2. When I opened the app after redownloading it, It already opened with my account logged in and with my tracks and tags that were there before deleting it.
3. After today's reinstall, I noticed that the app was created last month, which is strange since I downloaded a new version today.
Let me know if you have more updates on that. Thanks once again!
