Beatgrid Export - will it ever come at least for the "Big Names" like Pioneer and Denon?

Hi there,

There is a such a huge variation between beatgrid formats in each DJ app that they don't transfer very well in general. However, MIXO already converts beatgrids where possible. For example, we import tempo tags from Rekordbox XML, then when exporting to Engine DJ the first tempo tag for each track (if exists) is saved as the first beat in Engine DJ.

The same theory applies to other imports as well but not all of them, since the exported data is limited.

I just wonder if a Beatgrid Export for Enginge DJ or Rekordbox will ever be available?

I know its a complex thing but that doesnt mean it cant be achieved.

or is it sure it will never come? ("never" for me would contain at least the next 2-3 years

Thx for Info.

Yes that's the theory! And Engine will build it from there. There's a little more to it, involving intervals and a second beat but the rest is out of our control.

I'll double check the logic anyway!
