There should be a setting in Serato for key display format.

Hmm. What happens if you change it then change it back to Camelot? Maybe that will force them to update.

Alternatively, you could use the Cue Conversion tool in MIXO to change them all to open key format first, then use Update Tags to write the key to the tracks, then read the tags in Serato again.

I think this is my first day using the subscription. The problem occurred when exporting with the "update only changed tags" option disabled. Today I redid everything from scratch, and so far everything is fine. Thanks

After a lot of testing, I found that MIXO itself is overwriting the musical key tags. I can't figure out how to stop the program from touching them.

When I export to Serato, MIXO keeps writing keys like "9m" directly into the file tags. Serato then reads those tags and shows those keys (they even turn white instead of colored). To fix it, I have to re-analyze the whole library in Serato. Everything goes back to normal — until the next export. I confirmed this in real time using Mp3tag.

My setup:
My MIXO library was created by importing from Engine DJ. I'm using MIXO to help sync between Engine DJ and Serato DJ Pro. Sync with Engine DJ works perfectly, no issues at all.

When you 'Update tags' in MIXO, it will write the key to the file using what ever key is stored in the database, regardless of the 'Key display format' in Settings/Advanced. It was most likely imported as open key format from engine DJ. I'm not sure why the keys are white in Serato though. I think the improvements we're making will solve this though.

Hi there, here's the latest beta version with a direct export and import with Serato's new database.

Before exporting, MIXO automatically creates a backup of the Serato databases found in the Serato/Library folder, but it's always worth doing your own backup.
