Smart playlists become regular crates when exporting to Serato

Hi,

I’m evaluating MIXO for daily sync between Serato DJ Pro and Engine DJ.

Inside MIXO, I have smart playlists (with rules). When I export to Serato, they show up as regular crates (static lists), not as smart crates. The rules are lost. I need them to remain smart crates because I sync almost every day and can’t manually recreate them each time.

Serato supports .scrate files for smart crates. Does MIXO have any way to preserve smart playlist logic when exporting to Serato, or is this a known limitation?

This is a known limitation but we are working on a better solution that should enable smart crates to be exported.

Hi there, here's the latest beta version with a direct export and import with Serato's new database.

Before exporting, MIXO automatically creates a backup of the Serato databases found in the Serato/Library folder, but it's always worth doing your own backup.
