I am following your guide. I have to convert both serato and dj pro libraries to rekordbox. First issue, with Dj Pro, it finds my playlists no problem and successfully imports them. When I go to export them, it says error no database found. When I open the log, it lists all the songs and they all say "failed to analyse"

Now with Serato,, i am trying to import a large library. When I go the serato folder that hosts the database file, nothing happens. It does not list any playlists and just has an empty box that says "drag crates here". Nothing loads up at all.

Ah you must be on Serato v4 and the v3 crates maybe have been erased. We’re working on improving this.

As for engine dj though, I’m not sure what’s going on there. Do the tracks play in MIXO?

FYI - you can add the FilePath column to the track list to see where the track paths are pointing. This might give you some understanding as to what’s happening.

Hi there, here's the latest beta version with a direct export and import with Serato's new database.

Before exporting, MIXO automatically creates a backup of the Serato databases found in the Serato/Library folder, but it's always worth doing your own backup.

Hey im still unable to do anything here. I have my external hard drive
which holds all of my serato music and database. I am using mixo, going
into import, directing it look at the serato folder that holds the
database, and nothing is showing up on my window inside mixo. My second
problem im having, is with dj pro. I do get it to find my library, it
imports it. But when i try to export it, it says it fails. So basically
nothing is working for me. What can i do here? Im really worried because i
need to get rekordbox setup correctly asap. I attached the logs from
the failed export, maybe you can help me at least get dj pro working?

Regarding the Import from Serato - have you installed and tested the beta I sent you?

You don’t need compatibility mode if you’re using Serato v4

OK so i just installed the beta version and it found serato and is
updating. About 40k songs so its taking a while. It is failing every
analysis tho. While this is importing, do you have a solution as to why i
cannot export my dj pro library? It would be upsetting if after all of this
work i wont be able to use any of these.

ok so yeah same thing just happened, the serato import did work so thats
good news, but on export it says database not found and it fails. This is
happening for both serato and dj pro.

So import from Serato v4 worked but exporting back shows database not found?? That’s very strange. For djay pro, is the export location correct? Can you send me a screenshot and any error logs?

Yes, it is giving the error both dj pro and serato, on both exports it's
not working. On the serato export it says database not found. I attached
the logs for dj pro.

I see. Normally when you install Serato and djay they add folders to your local drive. Djay is in the system Music folder and Serato is in the Application Support folder - Serato/Library/master.sqlite. Do you see this file or folder?

Perhaps it’s in the external drive? Do you see the master.sqlite there? Usually there will be only location.sqlite on the external drive.

Yes the logs just show that the database is missing but I asked a question and I was waiting to hear from you!

Usually there will be only location.sqlite on the external drive, and master.sqlite + root.sqlite in AppData/Local/Serato/Library.

Maybe the location is different on Windows. Please can you check in the AppData folder and see if the Serato/Library folders are in Local or Roaming? MIXO looks in Local but maybe it's in Roaming.
