try to import my library and everything and its still showing the same library

So after exporting to Engine DJ it’s not showing any changes? Were there any errors in MIXO?

Please let me know the export path in MIXO and check that it’s pointing to the correct location of your database.

Hi there, here's the latest beta version with a direct export and import with Serato's new database.

Before exporting, MIXO automatically creates a backup of the Serato databases found in the Serato/Library folder, but it's always worth doing your own backup.

My serato data base is on an external

MIXO should still find it. The main database will be local with an additional database on your external drive.

Still not working

I saw your screenshot with the failed attempts to write to the Engine DJ database. Please double check the export path is correct and that your database is not locked.

To find the 'm.db' database, click the folder icon on the export page. It should open Music/Engine Library/Database2 and here you should see the m.db file.

Right-click the file and select "Properties".
Click the "Security" tab at the top then click the "Edit" button to change permissions.
Select your user account/group from the list at the top.
In the "Permissions" box below, check "Allow" next to "Write (and Modify)".
Click Apply, then OK.

Then make sure Engine DJ is comply closed. Restart MIXO and try the export again.
