hello, i have been experiencing a bug for months when exporting my library from engine dj to rekordbox or other platforms where i find all my cue points off beat when loading a lossless track (i.e. mp3 or m4a) but not for my lossless tracks in flac or wav

Ah yes this is the beatshift issue that affects older MP3 and M4A files. It's related to differences in how DJ software read the files and can be quite difficult to solve.

In newer files this is not an issue and in some cases encoding older files with the newer format and then updating all the cues and grid markers with a small shift can fix the issue, but not always and it's a bit cumbersome.

MIXO does try to rectify this issue but again it's a tricky one!

hello, i have this error even on freshly downloaded m4a and mp3 tracks added to the latest engine 5.0.0 version. please fix it asap, otherwise the software becomes basically unusable.

every mp3/m4a track on my library from those added years ago to those added few minutes ago have all the hotcues shifted by the same amount, and trigger few milliseconds before where they should be.

i would really like to rely on this software to migrate my engine library to rekordbox

Ok I have made some improvements for MP3 tracks that have the beatshift issue. I'm not sure if it will fix the issues for you but it's worth trying!

Please install this beta version, then select your MP3 tracks with the drift problem, right-click and choose 'Re-analyse Tracks' then click 'Rebuild Waveform'.

Once that's done you should see an improvement, at least for MP3 files.

Let me know how it goes!
