way to convert memory cues to hot cues per-track
is there any way to convert memory cues to hot cues on a per-track (or playlist) basis?
I use memory cues in rekordbox, but engine dj doesn't support them, so they need to be exported as hot cues. However, I don't want to clobber any existing hot cues from rekordbox, so I don't want to use the cue converter to do this to my whole library.
It would be great to be able to select which tracks/playlists to convert. Or, alternately, I should be able to select a "don't overwrite hot cues" option in the cue converter.

We'll probably add a check if a hot cue already exists at the same start time and if so skip that memory cue.
Regarding the cue/grid alignment - there are known differences between ALL of the DJ apps in how they read tracks, which sometimes causes grid/cue misalignment. MIXO tries to correct this where possible but there are caveats, particularly when importing the same tracks from different sources and exporting to Engine. It's incredibly hard to deal with.
You could try turning off the Settings/Advanced toggle for "MP3 offset fix (corrects cues/waveform in EngineDJ/VDJ)" towards the bottom of the page (in the Export section), then export again.

- grid tracks in rekordbox. add memory cues
- import that playlist into Mixo
then when I go to check the import, on some of the tracks it's obvious that the mem cues no longer match the grid inside Mixo (like the cues are visibly to the left or right of the grid line). which suggests that the grid changed on import. this seems to happen whether or not I check the "track analysis" box on the import screen.
(I'd set the grid from within Mixo instead, but that's basically not possible with the provided waveform... I can't see where the beats are!)
any tips you can give me would be super helpful! right now it feels like i'm not saving much time with Mixo (rather than simply adding the same tracks to both Rekordbox and Engine), because I can't trust that imported tracks will stay on-beat.

Anyway, I tested adding those 2 tracks you send me to my own Rekordbox and imported that into MIXO. The cues aligned perfectly with the grid, although the waveform in MIXO appears to be shifted left.

I'll keep trying to figure out why you might be seeing this but so far your tracks look perfect for me, when importing them from Rekordbox. I also tried exporting back and nothing changed, the grid was perfect.

anyway, i'll keep experimenting... so far it seems like gridding my stuff in engine, importing to mixo, and exporting to rekordbox works better than the other way around.

Once you've installed this version, select some of your tracks with the issue, right-click and Re-analyse Tracks, then select Waveform and you should see an improvement, particularly when importing from Rekordbox.
The key thing is either deleting your tracks and reimporting, or reanalysing the waveform.

Let me know how you get on!
