Traktor to Serato Export Issue: Cues not appearing in Serato (External APFS Drive)
I am trying to migrate my library from Traktor to Serato Pro on macOS, but the hotcues are not showing up in Serato after exporting.
Here are the exact details of my setup and the deep troubleshooting I have already done:
The Setup: I am on macOS. My entire music library is stored on an external drive (BackUp4TB) formatted as APFS.
Import to Mixo: Works perfectly. All my Traktor cues are fully visible and working inside the Mixo desktop app.
Export to Serato: The Serato export process finishes successfully. I even tested this by checking the file properties in Finder: the "Date Modified" of the audio files successfully updates to the exact time I run the Mixo export. This proves Mixo is not blocked from writing to the files.
The Issue: When I open Serato Pro and click "Rescan ID3 Tags", the cues simply do not appear on the tracks.
Permissions checked: I have verified that all folders and files have "Read & Write" permissions for everyone. Furthermore, both Mixo and Serato have "Full Disk Access" enabled in macOS Privacy & Security settings.
Important Note regarding the External Drive:
I noticed that Serato creates a Serato database folder on my internal Mac drive, but also another Serato folder on my external drive (BackUp4TB). Since the file modification date changes but Serato doesn't see the cues, could Mixo be failing to update the correct Serato external database folder during the export?
Is there a specific workaround for external drive libraries, or something else I am missing?

When exporting to Serato you should see the tracks getting updated with a progress bar at the end of the export. It sounds like this did work because your timestamps were updated.
So the question is why are there no cue points? As a test, you can go to Export/Track Tags and then select a specific playlist. Then load Serato and play a track from that playlist. Did it work?
Also, check Music/MIXO/Logs and see if there’s any info about tracks that failed to update.
Let me know how it goes. I also saw your downgrade feedback regarding a refund so I’m keen to resolve this. It should work and might just be a case of requiring smaller batches or a retry.
However, if it still doesn’t work let me know.
