Hi there,

Is it only specific tracks, or all of them? Did you try running another export to see if it fixes the missing tracks?

good morning it seems like any new tracks that i add now does this the old ones from before is no problem. it is any new ones that i do that is doing this

Please try this:

1. Update to MIXO v2.12.
2. Eject your USB, then re-insert it.
3. Right-click the Engine Library folder on your USB and make sure you have read/write access. Do the same for the Music and the Database2 folder inside.
4. Check MIXO has full disk access (System Settings/Privacy&Security./Full Disk Access then use the + to add MIXO if it's not there. Then restart MIXO.
5. Then try exporting again.

Let me know if that helps!

Also, if you know the name of one of your tracks that isn't working, have a look inside the Engine Library/Music folder on your USB and see if it's there, or if the folder is there but the track is missing.

Let me know what you find.

Any luck with this?

I had the same issue earlier, for all tracks. I had to reset everything. It was definitely not track specific, I think there is some bug in Mixo.

What did you exactly do to correct it I have a gig tomorrow and I feel like I’m not ready now all my new songs are like that

The thing is the songs affected are like 100 +hours long for a 3 min song

I’ve been looking into this for you guys because it obviously shouldn’t be doing that and I want to make sure any bugs are fixed, but I can’t replicate the issue! For me it works beautifully.

So let’s try to narrow this down:

- It sounds like it’s a duration issue, where some or all tracks have no or very long duration. Is that right?
- Do those tracks have the correct duration in MIXO? And are those tracks analysed with waveform in MIXO?
- Is it for all audio types or specific to a particular type, like M4A or something?

If you can share with me your MIXO library as XML perhaps (Rekordbox or DJXML) and also the exported m.db with the issues, that would be really helpful.

You can upload your file here:
https://www.mixo.dj/uploads

Thanks!

In the meantime, you should try this:

1. On the USB, delete the m.db file (Engine Library/Database2). Don’t delete the whole folder, just the m.db.
2. Export from MIXO again. It should be faster if the tracks exists.
3. Test to see if the problems are resolved.

Let me know the outcome!

Actually, can you check what the sampleRate is for your tracks in MIXO? Are the figures totally wrong? They should be 44100 or 48000 etc

I think if they are imported wrong then we could get these issues. Where did you import from?

I re-analyzed all songs in Rekordbox, deleted my Engine Library and then re-imported completely.
Maybe a dirty workaround would be to export your playlists for your gig to rekordbox and then import from Rekordbox via Engine.

I had started this thread here: https://www.mixo.dj/chat/latest-update-broke-export-to-engine-dj

For me the issue was that the song duration was completely off.
It looked perfectly fine within Mixo, but on any export the duration was stretched by factor of ~30-45 or something large like that.

It was not specific to any song or file types, and it happened to all songs.
Also it happened just after I updated to a new Mixo version and after I deleted my old Engine library for a fresh new export. Maybe something broke it, because on my 2nd pc I did the update a bit later. I don't know.

In the past I had exported my library to serato and re-imported again (without opening Serato), maybe something got broken there.

I am currently not affected by it, and I cannot replicate it anymore.

Isn't there an import feature from Serato to Engine DJ directly in Engine DJ?

0

D
yes but that samething is there it wasnt there before and its only engine its is doing this to theres too much songs for me to do 1 by 1 replacing

I had a problem with a new install of Engine where I cannot add playlist tracks. I can add tracks to the Collection but not playlists. This is with a fresh install and using Engine directly, so it clearly has some bugs. Exporting from MIXO to Engine is currently the only way I can populate playlists! There some support threads about that on their site.

Anyway, that does not deter from the issue you're facing so I'm looking into that now.

I had deleted the database file, and I also had deleted everything. The issue had persisted.

Ok thanks. And what do the sampleRates look like in the MIXO track list (you might need to add that column)?

If your tracks have missing or incorrect BPM, sampleRate or duration, these problems could occur. Can you see if any tracks have issues with these values in MIXO?

The issue no longer persists on my side, so I cannot replicate it anymore. But I can say that I did not change any of the files and they now work flawlessly

I guess that’s good news! Really good news. But let’s keep an eye on it. If you notice any issues like this again please check for waveforms, BPM, sampleRate and duration and let me know.
