Dublicates after export/import traktor

I made a playlist and exported it to a tractor. I played, changed the order, set the que point. I imported it back to mixo, for further selection of tracks. But after importing, some of the tracks were duplicated. For some reason, their duration differs by 1 second. They don't collapse through duplicates finder. I did the same thing earlier, but with the full collection, there were even more duplicates

It looks like you're on a secondary device, with downloaded tacks.

Then after importing the same tracks you exported, they become duplicated?

Is your secondary computer setup exactly the same way as your primary computer, eg both using the D drive and the downloaded tracks are pointing to a 'Music BASE' folder?

On the second computer, I download tracks, upload them to the cloud. After that, I download it from the cloud, and move it to the necessary folders via move&rename. After that, I exported the playlist to the tractor, did my business there, and imported the playlist back.

The Move & Rename tool only works for locally imported tracks, so it shouldn't affect your downloaded tracks.

The duplicate checking system during import should have picked up on matching filePaths regardless of where they were imported, so that's the confusing part. I think maybe there was some whitespace or something at the end/before one of your filePaths?

I'll check the file paths when I get home. But it's not the first time I've noticed a problem with importing. The tracks differ in length by 1 second, although the link leads to the same file.

The variations in times are caused by slight differences in how DJ apps read the duration. For example, sometimes you can import a track directly and it have a time of 4:04:37, which is rounded to 4:04 in the UI, but Traktor might store the time as 4:04:53, which will be rounded to 4:05 in the UI. It doesn't affect the duplicate checking - that part is based on normalised filePaths. The only thing I can think of is if somehow the parsing of those filePaths included some whitespace, which the normalisation did not remove (I've just added that).
