I use colours in Rekordbox to set the energy of a track, this doesn't appear to be importing from Rekordbox into Mixo. I have renamed the colours in Rekordbox to Energy [1], Energy [2] etc.

MIXO should import track colours from Rekordbox. It displays them as a little colour square in the track list. The colour column does not show by default so you’ll need to add it.

Also, how do you rename colours in Rekordbox? Sorry if I'm missing the obvious here but I only have basic knowledge of each DJ app!

If you open Rekordbox and go to Preferences -> Advanced -> Browse.

Go to Color, and you can change the colour names.

I then use them to set the “energy” of the track in the library as they can be sorted.

In MIXO the colours don’t appear to copy over when using the direct Rekordbox integration (not the XML import).

Wow! That was quick thank you, just tried the import, worked great! Exporting to djay pro also worked perfectly!

Interestingly, after exporting to djay pro, the colours appear, but slowly start to disappear. I’m wondering whether cloud sync in djay pro is overwriting it…

That could be the case, I'm not sure. I'll look into it!

Ok, I think I've solved the issue with iCloud synced data overwriting metadata in djay after exporting from MIXO. I also noticed some tracks were duplicated, which I've fixed.
