Hi, unfortunately, when I export my collection from rekordbox to traktor - waveforms and keys are not analyzed... I tried with xml from Rekordbox 5... I tried also with master.db from rekordbox 6... Exactly the same issue... I hope we will find solution for that... Personally I have no idea what can I try... ? Cue points are ok. Marcin Klimek, Best Regards

When you imported into Traktor, did you select "Import tags from collection"?



You can also try analysing the tracks in Traktor.

Yes, I select "Import tags from collection". Now I figure it out that some mp3 files has analysed key but no waveform. On the wave files (most of my library) there is no waveform and key. I know that i can analyse tracks in Traktor but when you switch often between RB and Traktor it's too annoying and take a lot of time so it's not solution for me :(. Any ideas how to solve that?

BTW: I have my library on external disk, and I'm using rekordbox as my main management app... and from time to time when i have some new music... managed in RB... I want to convert it to Traktor and play with that software.

I see. Traktor does not support waveforms in the NML, so you would still need to analyse the track.

ok.. what about keys?

If the key is in MIXO, it should get exported to Traktor in the NML.



I'll double check this tomorrow but as far as I'm aware there are no problems with this.

OK, I have an update for you - MIXO does export "KEY" inside the INFO tag, but for some reason Traktor does not read this.

However, I have found a solution (we need to add an additional tag) and will roll the fix into the next release.

Super! Your fast response is valuable.

It's no problem at all. We've also added 2 new features along with this fix - a Key Converter tool under the Tools section (convert all keys to Open or Musical type), and a key display setting in Advanced settings (gives you the option to display keys in Open, Musical, Camelot or original format), along with colour-coding in the track list.

Hi Marcin,

I'm pleased to announce that MIXO v1.37 is now live with improvements for importing and exporting keys with Traktor.

If you export to Traktor in MIXO v1.37, all the keys will now be correct!

There is also a new Advanced setting in MIXO for changing the format of the the keys displayed in the track list, and a new Key Conversion tool under Tools.
