Just to clarify, do you mean your music is all stored on USB and was imported into Engine DJ but is not found in MIXO?



Are the playlists showing on the Import Engine DJ page?

sorry for the lean info, clicked something wrong i guess🫢

i have a collection on a usb stick from another computer that crashed , and i wanted to import that into mixo , to go to rekordbox .

i only see the playlists that are on the new computer in engine dj.(in mixo import tab)

in engine dj i see all the playlists , the one one the pc and the ones one the usb.

is there a setting i need to adjust or does mixo only looks in the main collection on pc?

Perfect, thanks. Do you mean you backed up the Engine DJ .db database file on your USB? If that's the case you can just select that file on the Import Engine DJ page.

No , i have a usb with all of my playlists on that i use on the hardware, the main collection WAS on a computer but crashed , no other backup then the usb.

But when i connect the usb to my new pc , it sees it perfectly in engine and i can accces all the playlists , no problem.

When i open mixo and want to import my playlists from engine , it only sees the playlistst that i created on the pc itself , but not the ones on the usb.

MIXO imports everything from the Engine DJ .db file. If the playlists are not in that file it won't see them.



I'm guessing your playlists are basically tracks in folders? Or perhaps you mean M3U files? Either way, perhaps you can import them into your Engine main library so MIXO can find them.



Sorry if that's not making sense but it's an unusual situation that I'm not familiar with.

Yeah I have this exact same problem. New usb that I'm gonna take to a gig with an engine library in it with all the playlists. Opening mixo it detects some playlists, but not all and some playlists that shouldn't even be there that engine dj itself doesn't show on the usb.

Impossible to import and convert to rekordbox.

It was not immediately clear what the reported problem was here. I have now realised the situation and have fixed the issue.

The fix will be in the next release, v1.13. I'll let you know when it's live!

Yes, all going well the ETA is today!

MIXO v1.13 is now live!

It should now be possible to see/import playlists from a USB (synced from Engine DJ).

Simply go to 'Import Engine DJ' in MIXO and select the m.db file on your USB ([your-usb-drive]/Engine Library/Database2/m.db).

I hope this resolves the issue - please do let me know either way.

Ok will give it a go, but my trial has ended a couple of weeks ago, i wanted to see how good the conversion works with a couple of playlists.

Any chance i can get a second trial period before i buy the package ?
