2.9 broke import

Hi! ever since 2.9 when I go to import Engine or Serato it is only showing my 1 smart playlists and no of my regular lists

So the good news (for me) is it works for all DBs I've tested, except yours. I've also checked the code and it's not a regression - there doesn't appear to be any changes to the logic for some time!

This means it's a quirk in your library, so I now have to find the cause...

It was in fact a regression but only affected users with deleted playlists that still existed in the database. We don’t import those and the logic was incorrectly filtering out active playlists too! Thanks for spotting this!

thank you! i wish when i deleted a playlist in Engine it removed all the data in the DB, i feel like the database builds up in size and some of the bs can be removed

It does most of the time, but not if you've synced to Dropbox in the past. That's when items start hanging around in the hope they'll be synced.. I think!

now that I got to use it more I noticed MIXO is reading my Engine playlists and listing them Z-A vs A-Z alphabetically.

great1 looks good but it keeps the smart playlists at the top in MIXO even though in EDJ i have them at the bottom. That doesnt matter to me so dont go nuts if its just my library causing it

I checked those out and strangely they have no order values associated with them so they go first. If you reorder them in Engine, MIXO will reflect the change on the import page.

awesome, yes that worked, i re-ordered them up a playlist or 2 and then MIXO picked up the change
