Large NML Import Error.

Hi,

I have recently updated Mixo 0.19. Now when I am importing my Large NML its does not show any wait time also its only Showing Import Currently In Process.

It might take a lot of time but I suggest you add Wait time and Load Notification when we select Large Playlist or Collection File.

Completely agree with this.

We are in the process of vastly improving the import process, which includes advanced settings based on device specifications. However, I've added your idea for a 'Wait time' as this would be really helpful.

Thanks!

Hi,

not sure if it's the same problem, but when trying to import my traktor NML it just says:

Parse - Complete

Saving - Ready

But nothing else happens, and I've waited like 4 hours

Thanks in advance

Thanks Ejan,

It likely is the same issue. We are working on fixing the import process right now for larger libraries, so we'll have this fixed in the next release.

Hi Jon,

Is it then possible that it takes more than 4 hours to import the NML?

if so I will leave the computer processing but as nothing happened I just closed the program. Is there any log to see if there is activity or if it is just stuck?

It depends entirely on the size of the library, the more tracks you have the longer it will take. But we have seen issues with importing larger libraries which we are focusing on fixing for the next version.

We have also drastically increased the import speed overall in testing for the next version, you'll be emailed when it's out so it may be best to wait for it if you have 1000s of tracks to import.

You can also turn on logs by going to Settings > General > Tools > Enable Logs. When you next import, you can go to your Music > MIXO > Logs folder and send us the files there.
